Arts Around Michiana

Notre Dame, St. Mary's College, and College of the Holy Cross

The Snite Museum of Art on the Notre Dame campus is a 68,000-square-foot facility housing more than 21,000 objects from many cultures and time periods. The museum has an active exhibitions program, installing more than 15 exhibitions each year. Students find this a valuable resource in the research and viewing of art objects.

The ISIS Gallery (first floor of O'Shaughnessy Hall on the ND campus) features shows of students and faculty as well as shows of artists from the community and elsewhere.

The Photography Gallery at Riley Hall (Notre Dame) each year features eight to ten exhibitions of nationally known artists’ work. These artists are also invited to speak at the university and attend the opening of their shows, enriching the experience of the students.

Galería América, located in Notre Dame's McKenna Hall, is sponsored by the Institute for Latino Studies and presents works by various professional artists from the Latino community as well as exhibitions by ILS students.
