"Squaring the Circle: Apollodorus of Damascus and the Design of the Second Pantheon"
Pieter Broucke, Professor of the History of Art and Architecture at Middlebury College, will speak on the early imperial artist Apollodorus of Damascus and his many incredible architectural designs. The lecture will be delivered at 5:30pm in the auditorium of Geddes Hall (Center for Social Concerns). The lecture is sponsored by the Department of Art, Art History and Design, the Classics Department, and the School of Architecture.
