A Conscious Christmas Fair Trade Handicraft Sale

Location: The large social space in Badin Hall, on the quad opposite South Dining Hall

Fair Trade handcrafted goods of all kinds will be sold with all proceeds benefiting the artisans served by Hope Initiative and the Notre Dame in Nepal Fair Trade Project. Come check out the pashmina, cotton and silk scarves, totes and handbags, wool knit caps, jewelry, handcrafted paper journals, camera and phone cases, singing bowls and other beautiful goods ideal for those looking for more ethical holiday gifts. The Notre Dame in Nepal Fair Trade Project brings art and design students to Nepal each summer to work with disadvantaged artisans from the Association for Craft Producers to design and develop more sophisticated handicrafts for the global market. Some items designed by Notre Dame students will be on sale.
