CONTEXT, the sister fair to Art Miami, is committed to the development and reinforcement of emerging and mid-career artists. Providing the ultimate platform for established and emerging galleries to present cutting-edge works, CONTEXT creates a meaningful dialogue between artists, galleries and collectors. In its second year, 65 international galleries, vetted by a selection committee of contemporary art professionals, will exhibit highlights from their gallery programs, solo artist exhibitions and curated projects. From December 4 through December 8, 2013, CONTEXT will take place in a freestanding 45,000-square-foot pavilion directly adjacent to the Art Miami pavilion; the two fairs will be joined by an outdoor café, lounge and curated open-air art exhibition.
