Amanda Martin

Amanda Martin, Vice President & COO of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will lecture in Room 200 Riley Hall of Art at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 26. She will stay on the next day as the guest critic for MFA walkthroughs.This event and the MFA walkthroughs are open to the public. 

Martin obtained her BFA in Painting in 2008 from the University of Notre Dame. She has spent her career since graduation at FWMoA, beginning with an internship in 2007 and experiencing all departments of the museum before joining the leadership team in 2010. Her roles today include fund development, talent attraction, marketing and communications, and strategic and fiscal planning

Additionally, she serves as an advisor to the curatorial team, overseeing exhibition content and advising collections purchases. She serves as a juror for the Contemporary Realism Biennial and The National: Best Contemporary Photography, and she has curated two exhibitions at FWMoA, “Art Cislo: Expressions of the Heart of Man” and “John Baeder: Taking Wing on a Higher Road.”
