The Graduate School will be providing Justin Barfield a grant from the Joesph F. Downes Memorial Fund to support his study at the Tamarind Institute Aluminum Plate Lithography Summer Workshop.
Tamarind Institute offers the four-week workshop for teachers and students of lithography in techniques for successful printing with aluminum plates. The course includes the theory and chemistry of plate lithography, drawing techniques and materials, processing, and printing.
