Phillip Sapirstein '99 hired on at University of Nebraska

Author: Dept. Staff

Phillip Sapirstein, an undergraduate studio major here (ND 1999) who went on to earn a PhD in Classical Art and Archaeology at Cornell and who for more than a decade was Robin Rhodes' assistant and crew chief on his Corinth Architecture Project, has just been hired by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a tenure-track job in Greek Art History and Archaeology and in Digital Humanities.

Previously he was on a 2-yr post-doc at the U of Penn (with Brian Rose, whom you might remember from the Antiquities Symposium here) and is now on a post-doc at the Albright Institute in Jerusalem.
