University of Notre Dame Art History undergraduate student Seán Cotter was accepted to the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London to undertake an MA in Art History. Cotter will be specializing in British Architecture 1615-1815 and hopes to undertake a thesis on the architectonic dialogues between Ireland and England in that time period.
Cotter recently presented his Honors Thesis Paper "Spolia, Memory, and Power: the Catholic Past in Mallow Castle." at the Midwest Art History Society Conference in Minneapolis.
