Resurrection is Aron Packer Projects’ first pop-up show in Chicago since Packer closed his Lake Street space last year. (Btw, Packer paved the way for pop-ups—in the late 80’s and early 90’s he featured his first gallery shows in his Rogers Park 3rd floor apartment.) Coming full circle with a roving format, Packer infamously puts together a large-scale group show featuring many artists that he’s long-shown, as well as several talents new to the fold. Think Summer blockbuster sequels to Armageddon and Alien, Resurrection is a MUST SEE. Gotta be fresh! And it is.
