Assistant Professor Nicole Woods received a major external fellowship from the Center for Advanced Studies in the Visual Arts (CASVA) at The National Gallery in Washington, D.C. Beginning this fall, she will hold the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellow position at CASVA, and will work on the last chapter of her book, Performing Chance: Alison Knowles, Fluxus, and the American Avant-Garde. A CASVA appointment is one of the most prestigious national and international fellowships offered across all sub-fields in the discipline of Art History.
