University of Notre Dame Industrial Design Professor Paul Down earned this year's IDSA Midwest District Outstanding Educator award.
The Midwest Honors Awards for the Industrial Designers Society of America were initiated in 2008 in recognition of (1) excellence in design education and (2) excellence in design practice. The Outstanding Educator award is one of two awards granted annually by the IDSA’s Midwest District. The second award was assigned to the Midwest District Outstanding Practitioner, Jonathan Kemnitzer.
