Kristoffer Johnson received his B.A. in journalism and B.F.A. in studio art from the University of Arkansas. In 2021, he received his M.F.A from the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design at Indiana University Bloomington. He is an artist from Northwest Arkansas whose work explores themes of mortality, impermanence, aging and decay. He primarily works with historic and alternative photographic processes to alter and decay images. His work has been featured in national and international exhibitions including, The Incheon Marine Asia Photography and Video Festival in Incheon, South Korea. Recently his work was included in The National: Best Contemporary Photography 2022 at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
