Teaching Scholar, Industrial Design
Shreejan Shrestha is a Designer from Kathmandu, Nepal. He purses design practice as methodology aimed at transforming current conditions into ideal ones that can contribute to greater social impact. He has been recently focused and excited about creating beautiful moments and crafting compelling experiences that integrate seamlessly into our lives. His research applies this principle to connect, empathize and translate consumer insights, needs and wants into product interventions. Over last few years as a design consultant, he has helped several startup companies in different stages of product development process. With interdisciplinary background, he blends his visual communication foundation and experience as muralist, with strong industrial design and technical skills to deliver on various aspects of design process.
His research has been recognized by Core77 Design Awards and exhibited at the invitational Global Grad Show honoring innovative designs that are changing the world, held in part with the Dubai Design week. He was also awarded Gold and bronze International Design Award in different categories for his design project.
