University of Notre Dame Painting MFA Amanda Joseph will have an exhibition of her work at Bluffton University from January 7 - 27, with a public reception on January 13, 1-3pm.
The exhibit is free and open to the public through Jan. 27. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Joseph’s portraits—many of them oil on panel—include a series in which she explores the intersection of class, race and gender through the lens of a complex set of social experiences of young adults. Her work has appeared in Chicago and New York, as well as regional, exhibitions.
