After a four-year hiatus, we're rebooting our signature annual event with renewed energy and some new twists. The theme of the event remains the same; show-and-tell our current students what you've been up to since graduation, reconnect with your former classmates, and share the wisdom you've cultivated with the faculty. This year, we're inviting members of the Classes of 2010 - 2014 to help us bridge the gap until we're back on our typical 10-year schedule. Here are the deets:
The Agenda
Friday:
9 am–1 pm: Alumni Presentations (~20m each, catered lunch)
1 pm–2 pm: Curriculum Roundtable with Faculty
2 pm–2:45 pm: Keynote / Skills Workshop
3 pm–5 pm: Portfolio Panel and Reviews
5 pm–6:30 pm: Closing Remarks, Happy Hour
Saturday Schedule
1–4 pm: "Lakeside Cookout" on West Lake Lawn (next to the design shop). Friends and family are welcome.
The Lakeside Cookout
As the only academic unit located on a lake, we're paying homage to the Crawfish Boil with a big outdoor bash on the West Lake lawn. Professor Carlson will be smoking some brisket, Texas sausage, and tantalizing veggies. We'll serve up some local beer, lawn games, retro tunes, and bask in the autumn air.
