Research Associate, Jordan Kauffman will be on a panel that will address the cultural and educational gaps that serve as barriers, boundaries, and borders for design students and educators. The presentation will take place at the Crossing Over Symposium at Cleveland State this Friday, October 6, from 3-4:30 pm.
By challenging existing social impact design models, offering alternative educational approaches that support inclusive design curricula, and discussing success metrics and assessment methods, presenters hope to advance interdisciplinary conversations about design as well as the need for a better system of "checks and balances" in collaborative partnerships.
