The Westlake 2D design studio primarily supports visual communication design instruction and research in the Department of Art, Art History and Design. The studio has 21 Apple Macintosh workstations and several Epson flatbed scanners for documents and film. The room has one LCD flat-panel display for lectures, critiques and multi-media presentations. Primary Software: Adobe Creative Cloud, Brackets, Atom, Audacity, iLife, Microsoft Office.
The computer lab is open 24/7 unless a class is occupying the space. During the weekends, West Lake Hall entry requires card access and pin entry. The lab also requires pin entry (provided by instructor). If you are currently enrolled in a course taught in West Lake Hall and cannot access the building, please contact the main office.
