Biography
Coleton Lunt was raised in the red rock desert of southern Utah and received his BFA from Northern Arizona University. He was a resident artist at Pottery Northwest and earned his MFA from the University of Notre Dame. He did a residency at Belger Crane Yard Studios and was invited back to Notre Dame where he currently teaches and manages the ceramic studio. His work can be found at Culture Object, New York; Belger Crane Yard Gallery, Kansas City; In Tandem Gallery, Bakersville; and Cerbera Gallery, Kansas City. His work is reminiscent of desert landscapes and celebrates craft traditions by blending a broad range of techniques developed throughout history.
