Eastern Kentucky University Professor of Art Joe Molinaro will give an artist lecture "Preserving Culture: Evolving Traditions and Outside Influences Facing Ecuadorian Amazon" in Room 301 of the Riley Hall of Art on Oct 10 at 4:00pm.

Joe Molinaro’s colleagues refer to him as “a combination of anthropologist and artist” and “a master of enlightened experimentation.” Molinaro has traveled to Central America many times and observed the function of pots in other, much different cultures. He has recorded several of his own video documentaries as well in the indigenous cultures of the Amazon basin.
