University of Notre Dame 3rd Year MFA student in Printmaking Heather Parrish will have an Opening Reception for Passages at Krasl Art Center - ArtLab Gallery on January 31, with an artist talk the preceding night.
Heather Parrish produces evocative spaces both physically and psychologically, in an ever-changing environment made of light, paper and, at times, sound. Influenced by contemporary artists James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson, Parrish is interested in perception and response. Her work explores and crosses boundaries between materiality and ethereality, serenity and anxiety, expansiveness and containment.
Passages will last through April 20.
