Please join us for a lecture titled, "Encountering Chinese Art in the Digital Age," by Professor Diao Changyu, Zhejiang University, Professor Chen Haitao, Dunhuang Research Academy, and Professor Chen Qi, Dunhuang Research Academy. The lecture will take place on March 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Annenberg Auditorium at the Snite Museum of Art. 

Utilizing recent developments in graphic technology, digital image processing, and artificial intelligence, the work of Diao Changyu, Chen Haitao, and Chen Qui celebrates the potential impact of digital technologies on the interpretation, study, and conservation of Chinese religious art. These three specialists use tools such as animation, 3-D printing, and virtual reality to create new opportunities for audiences of all backgrounds to engage with the historic past and preservation of Chinese artwork.
