Location: Snite Museum of Art (View on map )

Ready! Set! Draw!
In celebration of the international Big Draw Festival, the Snite Museum will be holding our first ever Monster Drawing Rally.

The Big Draw Festival is the world’s largest celebration of drawing and it takes place across the globe every year during the month of October. It is for anyone who loves to draw, as well as those who think they can’t. The festival promotes drawing as a universal language that has the power to change lives and unite people of any age, background, race, or religion from around the globe.

What exactly IS a Monster Drawing Rally?
A Monster Drawing Rally an exciting, family-friendly live drawing event and party that allows people to spy on the creative process, build relationships with local artists, and grow their own art collections. Our Monster Drawing Rally also helps support Nuner Fine Arts Academy, a South Bend fine arts magnet school.

Artworks will be available for “purchase” using a token system. You receive a token for every $15 donation you make (i.e. $15=1 token, $30=2 tokens, $45=3 tokens, etc.). Cash only, please. Each artwork will cost one token. If multiple people want the same work of art, they will draw straws to see who gets to “buy” it. All of the money collected will go to Nuner Fine Arts Academy to support creativity in the classroom. Making a donation to “purchase” a work of art is not required in order to attend. There will also be drawing activities, music, food, and a cash bar to enjoy.
