Professor Nicole Woods, Art History Department, Professor Jason Lahr, Associate Professor, Painting, Department of Art History and Design, and Victoria Perdomo, Museum Registrar at the Snite Museum of Art, will discuss the history of appropriation art, its use in contemporary artistic practice, and the challenges of appropriation art’s digital preservation in the museum as they relate to fair use issues under copyright law. Felicia Caponigri will moderate the panel.
