The Big Draw: Exquisite Corpse Halloween Edition

-

Location: Online (Zoom) (View on map )

The Exquisite Corpse is a collaborative drawing game that was developed by Surrealist artists in 1925. It was a way for them to free their minds of distractions and push their creativity to its fullest potential. It was also a lot of fun and yielded some pretty hilarious drawings.

Traditionally, players work together to draw a figure on the same sheet of paper. Each player adds one body part (i.e., a head, torso, legs) and then folds the paper so that the next players do not see what has been drawn. The result is a fantastical figure with a head, body, and legs made by different people.

For this program, we will be using Zoom to take the Exquisite Corpse game into the digital realm and, because it’s Halloween, we’re upping the spooky factor by creating monsters and other creepy characters. Join us for an evening of frightening fun that will open your mind, pump up your creativity, and make you smile!
