Last weekend at the Industrial Designers Society of America's Midwest Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Erin Rice BFA 2017 and Notre Dame's Merit Award Winner was selected from among the top Industrial Design Schools in the Midwest as the Districts top graduating student. This honor places her as one of the five top graduating seniors in the country and is considered the most prestigious undergraduate award in the Industrial Design discipline. This recognition is a great representation of the quality of the Industrial Design program at the University of Notre Dame.
After being chosen as ND's Merit Award Winner back in March by a jury of professional designers who interview all ID seniors, Erin worked hard to refine and finalize her body of work. At the conference, she along with her peers from each of the eleven Industrial Design Schools in the Midwest presented their work before a jury of professional designers and the conference attendees.
