Author: Lonnie Atkinson

Notre Dame Art History major Kirsten Milliard's paper entitled "Legitimizing Street Art: Claims and Complaints about Art in the Streets at MOCA LA." was one of twelve papers selected for New Perspectives in Visual Culture: 6th Annual Undergraduate Symposium in Art History.  This year's symposum will take place March 31st.

The symposium is organized by the Art History Association at Bowling Green State University. Papers may address any geographical or temporal epoch, although scholarship that engages contemporary theory and issues of audience reception are particularly encouraged. The symposium will take place within the School of Art at Bowling Green State University, located in northwest Ohio.

Congrats, Kirsten!
