Professor William Kremer retires

Author: Dept. Staff

Bill Kremer
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Professor William Kremer. Professor Kremer has been an integral part of the Notre Dame Art Department since he joined the faculty in 1973. He established the ceramics program, initially held in the old field house, and held several leadership positions such as Director of Undergraduate Studies, Director of Graduate Studies, and Chairperson. He has been a remarkable leader, inspiring and mentoring students and colleagues alike.

As Professor Kremer prepares to embark on his next chapter, we are confident that he will continue pursuing his passion for art with the same zeal and dedication he brought to his work at Notre Dame. We extend our warmest wishes to Professor Kremer for a fulfilling retirement and thank him for his exceptional contributions to our community.
