MFA Candidates Gallery Talks - 2

-

Location: Snite Museum of Art

The Snite Museum of Art on the campus of the University of Notre Dame presents a series of gallery talks by 2013 MFA Candidates in the Department of Art, Art History and Design at noon on both April 23 and April 30, 2013.

Nick Roudebush, Amanda Joseph, and Justin Barfield will present on April 30th.

The artists will talk about their works included in the 2013 Thesis Exhibition by BFA and MFA Candidates, which is on display from April 7 – May 19, 2013. This annual exhibition of culminating works by ten seniors and six third-year graduate students in the Department of Art, Art History and Design demonstrates a broad awareness of the themes and processes of contemporary art, and is often provocative.

The artworks range form industrial and graphic design projects and complex multi-media installations to more traditional art forms such as paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, ceramics, and sculpture.

These events are free and open to the public.
